All species marked are new to Hongkong.
Stegomyia fasciata is definitely present in the Colony, especially on the Kowloon side of the Harbour from Yaumati to
Shanshuipo, but apparently never in large numbers dike Stegomyia
scutellaris. However as the search for Stegomyia fasciata still
continues it would be premature to make any definite statements at present

A collection of the Tabanidas of Hongkong started original-
ly by Mr. Adam Gibson, H.R.C.V.S., Colonial Veterinary Surgeon, and
then carried on in partnership with me, has been undertaken.
