The owner of Inland Lot No.109 has already approach-
ed the Government regarding the extension to his lot and has agreed to the following conditions which I consider satisfactory:-
(a). The lease of Kowloon Inland Lot 109 to be surrendered to
Government within one month of date of acceptance of
these terms .
(b). The lessee to be granted a new Crown lease of Kowloon
Inland Lot 109 including the extension now applied for,
the new lease to be for the same period and to commence
from the same date as the existing lease.
(c). The lessee to pay into the Colonial Treasury within
seven days of date mentioned in (a) premium at the rate
of $2.00 per square foot, viz. 11,554.00 for area
coloured red on plan attached.
(d). The lessee to pay Crown rent at the rate of $600 per
acre, viz. 880,00 per annum for the extension commencing
from the date mentioned in (a). The revised Crown rent
for the adjusted lot will be $100.00 per annum.
(e). A sum of not less than 85,000 to be spent on buildings
on the area within 24 months of date mentioned in (a).
(f). The lessee to remove the Government Latrine at present
on the area at his own expense.
(g). The lessee to form the whole area of the lot coloured
red and the areas coloured green on plan to such levels as the Director of Public Works may approve and to his
satisfaction within 12 months of the date mentioned in
(a). The areas coloured green to be handed over to Government free of charge on completion.
(h). The lessee to pay the sum of $6.25 for each boundary
stone required to define the adjusted lot. The boundary
stones will be supplied and fixed by the Director of
Public Works.
(1). The lessee to pay to the Land Officer when called upon
to do so the sum of 830.00 for the new Crown Lease.
