undertake that I
will not directly or indirectly aid or abet the enemies of His Majesty King GEORGE THE FIFTH His Heirs and Successors or convey any information that may prejudice
his Army or his Navy, and will not disseminate to per-
sons of other nationalities any rumours regarding the
Military or Naval operations of any belligerent, so
long as I shall be permitted to reside in the Colony
of Hongkong, and that I will not leave the Colony
without permission or trespass beyond the limits here-
under set forth, that is to say:-
In the Island of Hongkong:-
North of a line drawn from the sea at Kennedy
Town Hospital through Mountain Lodge, Matilda
Hospital, Wanchai Gap, and Quarry Bay Gap, to the
South-East end of the Taikoo Dockyard:
In Kowloon Peninsula:—
South of a line drawn East and West through
Yaumati Police Station.

1. Die hiesige Regierung verlangt vorliegende Erklaerung von
allen maennlichen und weiblichen Deutschen Hongkongs unter Zufuegung der Adresse.
2. Die Verguenstigung des Aufenthalts hier gilt nur fuer
diejenigen, die bereits am 5. August 1914 hier ihrem Beruf nachgingen.
3. Die Erlaubnis des Aufenthalts ist jederzeit zurueckziehbar.
