The Governor of Hong Kong to the Secretary
of State for the Colonies.
(Received Colonial Office 10.27 a.m. 25th August, 1914).
Anglo-Swiss condensed milk Agent for the Colony informs me that exporting from England of this condensed milk prohibited. About 5000 cases per month imported here principally for export to Chinese Territory and there is reason to fear that if supplies are to cease trade will go over to American firms. I would be glad if export can be allowed to be resumed as soon as possible.
