With reference to paragraph 3 of your despatch No.163 of the 27th June, I have the honour to inform you that the salary of £200 to £230 specified in the paper of particulars which accompanied the Colonial Secretary's letter to the Crown 28 Agents for the Colonies of the 16th August, 1913, was probably 73 inserted by the Director of Education by inadvertence as no
authority was given for the higher rate.

In the case of Misa Skinner the mistake cannot be In the case of Misses Holmes and Cooper who have not yet arrived the error will be corrected.

As Miss Skinner has somewhat higher qualifications than the other two ladies it is not anticipated that this course will cause difficulty.
