I have the honour to submit for four consideration- attached correspondence which has parted between pyself
the Colonial Authorities with refereibe to my slais for t
single passages to England on being favalided from the, so“; vice.
2. Your petitioner, after more then 19 years Colonial ser vice has been invalided through ill health and through no fault of his own.
3. He herewith annexes a copy of the Fras Passage Scheme for the purpose of shewing that, absolutely no provision w made for an officer being farosd to retire, prematurely, through ill health and slap to show the hardship which has fallen, upon him through being forced out of the servios.
4. It is only two years fand eight months since petitioner returned from long leave, during which, he spent most of his savings, and 2
under these dircumstances, it can be readily understood that he has nết had sufficient time in which to save Massage money for his wife and himself.
5. our petitioner fepis strongly the injustios of having to pay these passages, in view of the fact, that he has. served more than half the term that would entitle him to 2 full return fares to the United Kingdom, he therefore súbmite that his complaint is a just one and in placing the matter before you, feels that he will receive justice at
your hands.
