Hon. Er. W. Chatham, C.B. C.M.G.
Director Public Works Department.
Dear Sir,
re Tender Law Courts.
With reference to my tender of the 17th instant for
the completion of the Law Courts, I shall be muvh obliged if you will kindly assist me in obtaining the contract for I anti- cipate there will be some clashings should another contractor
be placed on the same work, I do not know whether my Tender
is low enough but I am anxious to undertake the job and am wil-
ling to revise my price to suit you and if you will grant me
the contract I will do for the price in which you may accept the
approved tender. I hope you will be good enough to give me the preference for doing the work for the same price and perhaps, I may be able to do at a slightly lower price than that of the
Gender which you may approve. Trusting you will be good enough
to entertain my humble application and thanking you in advance
for the favour.
I remain,
Your obedient servant,
(Sa.) Chan A Tong.
