TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME GEORGE ▼ by the Grace
of God King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland
and of the British Dominions beyond the Beas Defender of the
Faith Emperor of India Bends Greeting WHEREAS His said Majesty
has been graciously pleased to set apart a certain piece or parcel of ground situate at Morrison Hill Gap Victeria in the
Colony of Hongkong particularly described in the Schedule hereto
and coloured red on the plan annexed hereto and registered in the Land Office as Inland Lot No.1625 together with the build-
ings erected thereon by the Sikh and Hindos Comunity of Hong
Kong as a Public Place of Worship for the Sikh and Hindoo Commu-
nity resident in Hongkong AND WHEREAS in order to avoid a
multiplicity of deeds for vesting the said piece or parcel of
ground from time to time in new Trustees it has been decided by
His Excellency the Govem or that in lieu of granting a Crown
Lease of the said pless or parcel of ground to Trustees the same
should remain vested in Els said Majesty and His Successors but
nevertheless should be exclusively appropriated for the purpose
of a Public place of worship for the Sikh and Hindeo Community
resident in Hongkong subject to the terms and conditions here-
inafter mentioned AND WHEREAS it has been further decided that
the care and management of the said temple shall be entrusted
te & Committee consisting of not less than
persons to be approved of in writing by the Governor or officer
Administering the Government of Hongkong for the time being
NOW THESE PRESENTS WITNESS AND IT IS HERESY DECLARED that for
so long as the conditions and obligations hereinafter contained
and the rules and regulations which it is agreed shall be from
time to time made by the Committee with the approval in writing
of the Governor er Officer Administering the Government of Hông
Kong for the time being for the proper management of the said
Temple are performed and complied with the said piece or parcel
of ground and the buildings thereon although remaining vested
in His said Yajesty and his Successors shall be and hereby are
solusively
