I have the honour to inform you that an applica- -tion has been made by the Bishop of Victoria on behalf of the Chinese Church Body for the grant of an area in Youmati as a site for a Church. The area shewn in red on the enclosed plan, 7,290 square feet in extent, which is in close proximity to the existing Church Missionary Society Building in Yauati,is available for the
purpose and I request authority to offer it to the applicants on
the following terus:-
(a). Term of lease 75 years to commence from the date of
a letter from the Director of Public Works notifying
the applicant that the terms have been approved. (b). Crown Rent 81.00 per annum.
(c). The area to be used only for the purpose of erecting
a church and to revert to Goverment unconditionally
if used for other than that purpose.
(d). The lessees of the lot to form the whole area of the
lot shown coloured red on plan attached to such
levels as the Director of Public Works may direct
and to his satisfaction within twelve months of the
date mentioned in (a).
(e). The lessees to construct such fences or boundary
walls as the Director of Public Works may consider
