of Examiners stating the class for wich they are candidates and the subjects which they propose to take. The Board of Examiners may require officers who are candidates for a First Class certificate to take
courses at the Technical Institute, the fees for which will be refunded to those who qualify for such certificate.
(8). It shall not be necessary for an officer to hold a certificate in Class III or Class II as a condition precedent to candidate for a certificate in Class II or Class I.
