Qualified in Standard Tests 111.
I consider the Standard reached by the Corps in Musketry
this year to be excellent: 88 members out of 112 qualified
to fire the regular sourse by making 65 points in the
Qualifying practices.
made The highest score in the Qualifying practices was much by
Reservist MeLennan with 88 points out of a possible 97; a
very creditable performance.
5. Drill
There is a slight improvement in the drill this year, which,
alle taking into consideration the limited time the members are
to devote to it, can be considered good.
The Unit Commanders are on the whole, still rather weak,
and do not acquire confidence as quickly as I hoped they
would; in order to overcome this, I auggest that next year
they be asked to attend one or two drills over and above
the necessary six and be allowed to drill the squad them-
selves, at present the only opportunity they get is on
Field days.
