them as early as possible before each shipment of the exact amount of each shipment. If experience shows that shipments of $300,000 each fortnight can be maintained, it may be possible to dispense with these telegrams. It is understood also that the Crown Agents will effect the insurance of each shipment. Pending decision on these proposals I propose to make monthly shipments of $400,000 in ten cent pieces and I shall telegraph as usual preparatory to
each transaction.
