(a). The Lessee of any land which at the date of this notification

is held under lease from the Crown for a term of 99 years or 75 years or for the term of 75 years with the option of renewal for & further term of 75 years may in the case of a lease for 99 or 75 years within a period of 3 years prior to the date of the expira- -tion of his lease and in the case of a lease for 75 years renewabi for a further term of 75 years way within a period of 3 years prior to the expiration of the renewed term of 75 years where he has exercised uis option of renewal require the Colonial Secretary to inform him whether or not the Crow will re-enter into possession of the land and the builings situate thereon and the Colonial Secretary shall thereupon inform him accordingly within one year of being required so to do.

(b). If it shall be considered desirable on the part of the Crow to

re-enter on such land the Colonial Secretary will at the same time inform the lessee that compensation for the buildings and improve- -ments will be paid for at a valuation to be fairly and impartially made by the Surveyor of His Majesty His leirs Successors or agente.

(c). If it shall be considered desirable to grunt to the Lessee another

lease of such land the Colonial secretary will at the same time forward to the lessee a statement of the premium and of the Crown Rent in consideration for wich the Crow will renew the lease for one further period of 75 years.

(d). If the lessee shall refuse to accept renewal on the terms referred to in clause (o) here of compensation as in clause (b) hereof shall only be payble if the Crown effects a new lease with a third party within 18 months of the expiration of the lease.
