NOTIFICATION
with reference to re-entry by the Crown on the
-piration of lenses.
ex-
(a). Not less than 18 months prior to the expiration of any lease now in existence of any land held from the Crown either for the term of 99 years or 75 years or in the case where a lease has been granted for a term of 75 years with the option of renewal for a further term of 75 years then not less than 10 months prior to the expiration of the second term of 75 years where the Lessee has exercised ais option of renewal the Colonial Secretary will notify the Lesses whether the Crow will re-enter into possession of the Land and the building thereon or not.
(b). If it shall be considered desirable on the part of the Crow to
re-enter on such land the Colonial Pecretary will at the same time inform the lessee that compensation for the buildings and improve- -ments will be paid for at a valuation to be fairly and impartial- -ly made by the Surveyor of His Majesty His Heirs Successors or Assigns.
(c). If it shall be considered desirable to grant to the Lessee another
lease of such land the Colonial Secretary will at the some time forward to the lesses a statement of the premium and of the Crown Rent in consideration for which the Crown will renew the lease for
one further period of 75 years,
(d). If the Lessee shall refuse to accept renewal on the terms referred
to in clause (c) hereof compensation as in clause (b) hereof shall
only be payable if the Crow effects a new lease with a third
party within lo months of the expiration of the lease.
(*). In the event of any such land being divided into sections and sub-
-sections, such sections and sub-sections shall be regarded as
separate lots for the purposes above stated and the registered
