The usual charge made by the Customs for extra services of this description is Hk.Tls.150 per month. It will be necessary to have officers on duty at both Shumchun and Kowloon stations during some part of the hours referred to above and I shall therefore have to ask you to assent, - pending confirma- -tion or otherwise of this arrangement by the Inspector-General to the payment of Hk. Tls. 150 monthly on behalf of the British
