With reference to your
despatch No.54 of the 19th of February
last, enclosing the draft of a Bill
to effect certain alterations in the
Copyright law of the Colony and of
Regulations to be made by the Govemor-
in-Council under Section 2, I have the
honour to inform you that, subject to
the following observations, I approve
of the scid draft Bill and Regulations
being enacted.

Copyright Act, 1911, necessarily extends
to all British Possessions other than
self-govering Dominions, and it would,
