I did not work very much with you. I was not the only Deputy.
If you told me that the fees had been paid I should have
thought that the shroff had the money.

Messenger in the Supreme Court Registry.
I was handed a cheque in April last by Mr. Alim Khan
for over $200. I went to the Bank and cashed it and endorsed it:
and I took the money to Mr. A. Khan about June or July I think.
I did not often have cheques from Mr. A. Khan but
from others I did; from idr. Wong Poo Kung a clerk in the
Registry: no one else except the shroff. This is the only cheque
I ever received from Mr. A. Khan.

I don't know if this cheque was an official cheque
because it had a coat of arms like the arms in the room; only
once I went.

I produce an application for a loney Order dated 14th. June, 1913, Rs. 145.5 - 2100. (Exhibit) purchased by the Official
Administrator in favour of Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur, Punjab,
India. Tuere was no other purchase of any Money Order for Hoshiar-
-pur during from February to this date; there was a purchase in
September 10th. at Kowloon of a Money Order of Rs. 165.8 113.90: same purchaser and same place. I do not know the individual who
purchased them,

There are no loose or spare forms of receipts: unless &
receipt book was forged it would be impossible to give a forged
receipt.
(I will produce the stubs of the 2 receipts).
