I am directed to inform you that His Excellency the
Officer Administering the Government has ordered proceedings to be
taken against you under General Orders 83 to 102.
The grounds of the intended suspension are as
follows:
1.

That you then being a salaried public officer on-
-ployed in the Registry of the Supreme Court did on the 9th.April,
1913, improperly and contrary to your duty receive 867.80 in cash
for probate fees in respect of the estate of D. A. Cordeiro decess-
-ed.
2.
That having collected this said sum you did retain
$46.00 thereof until the 13th. June, 1913, and 811.20 thereof
until the 3rd. July, 1913, whereas the said two sums should have
been paid in exchange for stampe to the Colonial Treasurer and the
Postmaster-General respectively on or about the 11th. April, 1913.

That you then being a salaried public officer employed in the Registry of the Supreme Court did on or about the
following dates namely, 12th. September, 1912, 16th. April, 1913,
17th. April, 1913, 19th. May, 1913, and 27th. May, 1913, improper-
-ly and contrary to your duty receive certain probate fees in cash being respectively the sums of $14.80, $11.50, 13.20, 89.20 and 84.80 in respect of the estates of Li Ah Shau deceased, Shek Fuk deceased, Mam Ly Sing deceased, Esse Noorsha deceased and Chen How Yin deceased respectively.

That having collected the said probate fees you did retain of them the following amounts respectively 88.80, $11.50, 813.20, 89.20 am 84.50 without accounting for the same until you were questioned by the Registrar of the Supreme Court, you then having been transferred from the Registry.
