REPORT
of an enquiry held by the Committee of the Executive
Council appointed by His Excellency on the 15th
August, 1913, to enquire into certain charges made
against Mr. F. P. Lenfostey, Second Clark in the
Harbour Department.

Mr. Chan Pui, 1st Clerk in the Harbour Department,
Mr.F.P.Lenfestey also made a statemont and called
on his own behalf Mr.Fan Taung Hing.

A copy of his reply to the charges is attached

Mr.Lenfeatey is Second Clerk in the Harbour
Department and has since about June 1910 been in charge of what
is known as the "Junk Office" where payments for Junk and Boat
licences are received and receipts for such payments issued.
Mr.Lenfestey ma authorised to sign receipts for these licences,
such receipts being on printed and nimbered forms in the shape
