From this date the Attendance Book will be kept in the

Examination Rom.

Mr. Chan Pui will take charge of the Chinese Clerks and Shroff on the upper floor and be responsible for the proper dis- -charge of their duties as per instructions laid down from time to

time.

All stationery will be kept by Mr. Fan and his Assistant in the Entry and Clearance Office from this date.

No Chinese Clerks will leave the office during office hours without permission from the Harbour Master or Assistant

Harbour Master.

The Assistant Correspondent Clerk will compile the Junk

Return for 1911 from this date.

lir. Lenfestey will take charge of the Junk Office, pass emigrants, inspect Junk Inspectors' Books and when satisfied with anme pass them to Assistant Harbour Master to be initialled. He will keep the arrival and departure book of Ocean and River Shipping, rendering quarterly return of same for Assistant

Harbour Master.

Clerks are warned against encouraging friends to visit them in the office, during office hours. In all cases, permission

must be asked.
