The balance in Canton Provincial Notes to a face value of
about $14.000.990 to be withdrawn from circulation & held in
safe custody pending redemption by the Central Government
under the comprehensive scheme of note redemption now being
considered in Peking. The difference between the subscription
price of the notes & their redemption price as fixed later by
the Central Government will be born by the Canton Provincial
Government.
5.
The Canton Provincial Government give an undertaking to
stop any farther issue of Provincial Notes.
