JUNIOR ASSISTANT MASTERSHIP HONG KONG,
•
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter regarding Mr Willian
who has for the past session been Assistant Mathematical and Science
ter in Brechin High School,
Judging from the information supplied about the above post and from
knowledge of Mr Kay and his work here, I am of opinion that he is
tisularly well suited for such an appointment. His teaching is sys-
atie and energetic, his manner such as inspires confidence, and he
na to be getting very good results. I think that he is better equipped
for the teaching of Mathematics than of Experimental Science.
He has plenty of enthusiasm, energy and confidence and carries out very
scessfully whatever he undertakes, He practically pioneered the organ-
ation of games among the pupils of this school, both boys and girls,
kind of work in which he appears to be particularly successful.
I have always found him obliging and ready to carry out any instructions
or follow any advice given kim. He is a young man of high character,
I am, Sir, yours sincerely
James Tuggart.
