With reference to War Office letter 10/1802 of
24th April 1913, I am commanded by the Army Council to send the enclosed statements (A. and B.) showing the cost of the
garrison of Hong Kong in the financial year 1912/13 and the
military contribution in respect of that period.
It will be seen that the cost to Imperial funds was
approximately £470,892 in excess of the contribution paid by
the Colony.
