Dominion Guaranteed 34% Debenture Stock have been
deposited. The security of the Chartered Bank of
India Australia and China has remained unchanged
except for the release of £50,000 New South Wales
3% Stock Certificate, in exchange for a like amount
of Bombay Improvements Trust Sterling 4% Debentures
deposited.
4. The Banks have reported that the amounts
of notes in circulation in the Straits Settlements on
the 31st December last were as follows:-
Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation $51,100
Chartered Bank of India, Australia &

5. The deficiency in the total value of
securities held against the note issue of the Hong
$182,030
Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, mentioned in
paragraph No.2 has been partly covered by an additional deposit of £267,000 24 Consols Certificates (valued approximately at £200,000) made on the 30th January
1913.
