Shun Te.

They have formed an association called the 'Five Hooks' Society. 72 Hang Shang Pao 3.

Shun Te Merchants residing in Hongkong have sent a telegram to

the Canton Authorities protesting against the ravages

-graphed to Canton that since the withdrawal of troops from Hsiao Lan, the district has been overrun with brigands, and has requested that a detachment of troops

Fatshan

Kao Ming. A school was recently burnt by a robber band and one of the scholars carried off. The whole

school has been broken up. Min Kuo Pao 7.

Sheklung - Tu Ts'un. The Tutu has sent a company of soldiers
