With reference to your Despatch No. 390 of the 20th. of December last and subsequent correspondence, I have the honour to transmit a copy of a letter from the Hongkong General Chamber of Commerce on the subject of the proposed low power Wire- -less Telegraphic Station at Hongkong, together with a copy of the
reply which I have caused to be sent.

I enclose also a copy of a letter which has
been sent to the Chamber in reply to the penultimate paragraph of their letter.
