Colonial Government, therefore, the matter of proceeding on the part of the crown and in behalf of the requisitioning government along the lines indicated. While of course undue haste would be unwise and is not desired I take the liberty of asking that further protracted delay and postponement be avoided and that a special effort be made by the officers of the crown in behalf of the requisitioning government to bring the case to an issue in a decisi- -ve tribunal where it can be passed upon authoritatively and with due regard to all legal authorities bearing upon it. Since apparent- -ly the legal phase of the case must be passed upon here it is desirable from every standpoint that this be done at the earliest possible moment practicable.
