With reference to Your Excellency's letter No.134/ 1906, dated 9th. instant, on the subject of the proposed road from the Practice Battery site on Jubilee Road to the proposed Battery above the 500' contour, I have the honour to inform you that there does not appear to be any objection to the road, outside the area reserved for defence works, being handed over to the Colonial Government as a public road on completion of the works.
