With reference to my Despatch llo. 237 of even date forwarding the Colonial Secretary's Report on the Blue Book for 1912, I have the honour to explain that page 2 the item "Military Expenditure $1,421,352.47" has been retained, as its omission would vitiate the returns of revenue and expenditure. I note this fact in, view of the instruction at para,raph 2 (c) of your Confidential

sailors registered should be expunged.
