With reference to the 6th. paragraph of my
Despatch No. 153 of the 5th. May, I have the honour to inform you
that Mr. Cheung Pat-sze's partners in business in the Straits
Settlements have now intimated that they will double Mr. Cheung's
benefaction under similar conditions and in aid of the Arts
Faculty.
This additional income will be utilised in the
manner indicated in my Despatch.
