1. The Committee considered
the final report from Captain Crawley and Mr. Kingston regarding
the sites for the station in Fast
Africa. It appeared that further
enquiries had confirmed the
impression that the best site was that at Chania Bridge recommended
in the previous report.
If a
distance of 16 miles between the transmitting and receiving stations was considered essential this
could be attained without
sacrificing the advantage of the
use of water power either by
