REG? 9 JUN 13 Mr. Perkins reports that Mr. Emery, 2nd. Class
Overseer, who arrived on the 26.1.13, is quite useless to him. He
to is neither capable of seeing that the various repaire, &c., buildings which come under his charge are properly executed nor of measuring up the work on its completion.
I attach a copy of Mr. Perkins' report and submit that Hr. Emery be paid one month's salary and given a free passage to England in accordance with clause 9 of his Agreement.
