On the occasion of their Majesties recent visit to India to hold a Coronation Derber at Dehli, their Wajostios loyal and law abiding subject of Indie ves as much onjoyed as it is out of the power of pen to mention, and as it is stated in the last part of a telegram from Lord Hardinge to Mr. Asquith, at the conclusion of the Royal Visit, that Their Majesties greoious demeanour and unfailing sympathy had drawn closer the bonds, uniting England and India.
Therefore thior Majesties gracious visit had ceared the people of India, that henceforth, they in Indie, and their off shootsserving to their Majesties in other parts of the Empire will receive inequall
ed trostment which will be taken as grents and concossions.
But it is a matter of great regret, that this their Hajesties gracious visit to India has not affected the minds of individual Britishers in charge of Inddiens in the Colonies, concerning the treatment of Indians, accoring to their Majesties wishes.
