In reply to your telegram of oth. December working expenses interest on debentures and other legitimate charges against profits and also providing for payment of dividend 5% estimated by inspection of accounts amount to 1,410 per day during the period boycott to 31st. December last average receipts per day for that period 8406 Government makes up deficiency fortyfour days there is no further claim for that period clain after 1st. January last will be dealt with separately figures referred to in my Despatch of 2nd. Decem- -ber are actual receipts from date of boycott former daily average in the year about $1,400.
