For some official work in Hong Kong during the last 3 years, I have been assisting in the efforts of the Chinese Y.M.C.A. to found a hostel in connection with Queens College. The scheme received Government sanction and the foundation stone of the hostel was laid by H.E. Sir F. Lugard. Just 3 days before I left Hong Kong, I was instrumental in promoting the amalgamation of the Governing Committee of the Hostel.
The HK Branch of the Royal Sanitary Institute was amalgamated with the Technical Institute, the Branch handing over to the Institute its Library, Charts, Furniture & small balance in cash. I have been for some years Hon: Examiner in Chemistry to the Anthony College of Medicine.
