(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.)
PARIS, JUNE 24.

The Messageries Maritimes mail steamET Néra, which was overdue, has arrived two days late at Saigon. The delay was caused by the Néra's having to pick up four officers, Chinese sailore, and 460 Chinese, Siamese, and Malay passengers belonging to the Gernan steamer Quinta, of Flensburg, which had been totally wrecked on a reef north of the Paracel Islands on the passage from Bangkok to Swatow.
A telegram from Hong-kong states that the German steamer QUINTA is ashore on one of the Paracels Islands and has been abandoned owing to the attitude of pirates. According to another message the tug DAVID GULLIES is proceeding to the Paracels to attempt the salvage of the vessel, and application has been made to the German Admiral to dispatch & gunboat to stand by. The QUINTA is a vessel of 1,634 tons, built in 1904, and owned at Flensburg,
