/19092/12 Gold Coast which came to me to-day I notice that Mr: Cormack, late Assistant Auditor in the Gold Coast, was informed, in the C.0.letter of 20th June last selecting him for transfer to Hong Kong (a copy of which letter was sent to the 0.A.G. Hong Kong), that his salary would be liable to a deduction of 4% on account of the Widows' and Orphans' Pension pro- vision.
This contribution was made optional in the case of the Audit staff by the W. and 0. Pension Amendment Ordinance (No: 3), a copy of which appears in the Supplementary Gazette No: 31 of 4th August 1911.
