May the 16th., 1912.
Sir,
In further reference to the letter from the Department of May the 10th. last, the Committee have pleasure in recommending Miss W.L.Evringham to the Secretary of State as a suitable candidate for appointment to the private Nursing Staff of the Hong Kong Civil Hospital, in succession to Miss A.L.H.Richards, wh has resigned her appointment.
Miss Evringham is sitting for her C.M.B.examination in the middle of June, and would, therefore, be unable to leave England before the third week in July, but as she was specially mentioned by Dr. Bell, Superintendent of the Civil Hospital, Hong Kong, for the first vacancy occurring on the Nursing Staff,
the Committee hope the date mentioned will not be too late?
I beg to enclose herewith Miss Evringhan's application form and papers.
I am,
sir,
Your obedient servant,
Victoria A

The Under Secretary of State,

Hon. Secretary.
