Dear Sir,
I beg to acknowledge your letter of May the 25th, 1912, in reference to Miss Evringham, the candidate re- commended by the Committee of the Colonial Nursing Asso ciation for the present vacancy in the Civil Hospital, Hong Kong.
The Committee understood from Miss Evringham that after 6 months in the Army Nursing Service she did pri- vate nursing, and subsequently joined the Naval Nurs- ing Service for 8 months prior to going to the Bourne- mouth General Hospital.in 1909.
I have written to Miss Evringham desiring her to give us precise dates for these various appointments and shall hope to forward her answer as soon as receiv
ed.
In reply to your second enquiry I have also asked Miss Evringham to furnish us with any report she may
hold as to her Army Nursing Service.
