In an official letter to-day Piggott states that
he has received a telegram from his wife informing him
that as result of interview at Foreign Office, there is
to be no further opposition to his appointment as Legal
Adviser to Chinese Government, and he inquired whether
I have received instructions to that effect.
What answer should I return?
