ultimo on the subject of the Onium traffic at Macao, I am
directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to state, for the
information of Mr. Secretary Harcourt, that he has
telegraphed instructions to His Majesty's Minister at
Mexico to endeavour to ascertain from the Mexican
Government what they consider to be the legitimate
requirements of that country.
