Section 81. It may be desirable to make thissection extend
to business outside Shanghai in the case of Shanghai Companies, for otherwise it might be suggested that it was necessary for a shanghai Company to have special authority to use its seal in Shanghai.
Section 96. It may be doubtful how far the provision for an unregistered mortgage being void against the Liquidator or a debtor will be effective against a person who is not a British subject.
Section 97. The debenture holders can appoint whom they plense as Receiver and it may be impossible to enforce the filing of accounts by a Receiver who is not a British subject. The same difficulty may arise under section 214 in respect of Liquidators in voluntary liquidations, but it is difficult to suggest any effective alteration.
Section 120(4). The "Gove mor" should be altered to some
other authority so far as regards shanghai Companios.
