If the appointment of Er. Ross is approved I
have to recommend that the vacancy of Assistant District Officer for the Northern District should be filled by the transfer of Mr. G. N. Orme from the Southern District, and that Mr. D. W. Tratman, First Assistant Registrar-Ceneral, should succeed Er. Orme in the Southern District. Both officers have considerable experience of the work, and have performed it in a satisfactory manner.
