Seeing there is no further promotion for us in
outside Departments we most humbly request that you will do all
in your power to try and obtain for us two more triennial incre-
ments of £20 each one on completion of 9 years, the other on
completion of 12 years bringing our maximum salary up to £190
a year in order that we may have something to look forward when
we are entitled to Pension and that we may not be asked to con-
tribute to the Widows and Orphans Pension Fund until we obtain
