(b). His clansmen or relatives are concerned.

property, and the case is brought before Court.
(d). He is friend to the quarrelling parties or has any
monetary interest in the case.

Regulation b. Any Mining Affairs Deputy is entitled after 3
years' service to a bonus if he has given every satisfaction, and
liable to punishment, if he is found to have violated any of the
regulations or received bribes.
Chapter II.
Regulation 6. Each Deputy shall on the receipt of any application
for licence note thereon the date of the receipt of the applica-
-tion and forward it to the Commissioner of Industry as soon as
possible.
Regulation 7. Each Deputy shall in the case of applications in
which the full particulars required under Regulation 11 and 12
have not been given, call for a report of such particulars; and
the date on which such report is received will then be regarded as
the date of the receipt of the application.
Rezulation . No Deputy shall receive any application for per-
-mission to open or inspect any mine, for which another application
has already been sent in and forwarded to the Commissioner of
Industry.
Chapter III.
Re ulation 9. The Commissioner of Industry and the various Deputie for Mining Affairs should keep registers in which the following
entries should be made.
(a). Name and address of applicant and the name and address of his company.
(b). Date of starting work on the mine.
(c). All branch departments of the Company even located elsewhere than in the district where it is proposed to work the
mine.
(d). All agreements Lade, cancelled or amended.
(e). All documents of appointments of the Manager, re- -presentatives, and other officers or empowering them to conduct
