The only item under this head to which I need allude
is that of 11,100 for the continuation of nullah training as an
anti-malarial measure in the district to the South of liagazine Gap.
The Militery Authorities who have barracks in the neighbourhood and who contributed before have been asked again to help towards the

Miscellaneous •
There are a number of small items under this head
for an explanation of which I would refer you to my Budget state-
-ment. The estimate of $2,000 for Public Bathing Places is the
result of a resolution moved by the Honourable hr. E. Osborne at
the meeting of Legislative Council held on 2nd. May, 1912. I
enclose an extract from the "Hansard" report of the debate from
which you will see that the resolution was carried unanimously and
that the Government undertook to consider the matter with the
Budget for next year.

work which was signed during the current month, amounts to
81,781,817.98. The time allowed for completion is five years but I
trust that in about two years some benefit in the way of an
increased water supply may be derived from the work.
