I have the honour to transmit copy of a letter addressed to this Government by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hongkong in which he inquires whether, as a
preliminary to recognition by the General Medical Council of
Great Britain of degrees in medicine conferred by the University,
Part II of the Imperial Medical Act of 1886 could be extended to
this Colony.

made in the proper quarter with a view to effect being given to
the wishes of the Board.
