11 under the particularly pressing circumstances

The8300ffgin ber to request that His Excellency may either include me under the exist- -ing passage scheme, or allow me to proceed nome on leave under the conditions of the scheme now under consideration, or else as

I requested in my first application, that the Government advance me the passage money which I will repay by instalments or in the event of my being included under either scheme such amount, if any, in excess of the amount which would be allowed me under the scheme.

My wife is lying very ill at Victoria Hospital

and Dr. Atkinson, the Pincipal Civil Medical Officer, states that the only hope of her recovery is her removal to a temperate climate and has told me to take her home as soon as she is fit to travel. His certificate is enclosed.

Trusting under these unfortunate circumstances my application may meet with your support particularly as it is absolutely necessary that Lirs. Mackie should proceed to England as soon as she is convalescent whenever that may be.
