anticipating any such raid he did not take any representations to the Government to build a better planned and more healthy Station. The failure to make much representations to the Government arose possibly from the fact that the arrangements ande had worked with- -out serious difficulty for so long and partly perhaps with the desire to avoid considerable expense.
14.
Recommendations.
It would seen desirable to live up the present
Police Station and build another.
It would seem best as long as the present premises are used to keep a larger force and unmarried police.
It would also seem desirable to have telegraphic
or telephonic communication established with the Island.
