Four Mogulations made between China and Portugal for the suppression of robbers.

The Goverer of Canton sent Le Fun Fai, the Commissioner of pereign Affairs, and Chan King Wa, the Superintendant of Folice, to laore te consult with the Governor of lacao as to the suppression of robbers and four regulations were proposed as follows:-

The twe nations should co-operate to suppress robbers throughout the islanda.

The Commander of the Treeps of the twe nations should consult with each ether hefere any step is taken, in order to prevent misunderstanding.

3.

May robbers seized by the Portuguese should be handed over to Canton to be dealt with as Boon as possible.

4. This co-eperation in suppression of rebbers should only boree regarded as for the maintenance of peace and Geod order, and should not be considered to have any bearing on the delimitation of the boundary between the tro katiana: and these arreng monte rust only be considered as temperary.
